Grevillea 'Poorinda Refrain'

ORIGIN:Grevillea 'Poorinda Refrain' is said to be a hybrid between a New South Wales form of Grevillea floribunda and G. alpina. Cultivar first received by the Authority: 7 September 1964. Applicant: Mr L Hodge.

DESCRIPTION:It is a bushy shrub growing to a height of about 1.3m. The leaves are covered on both sides with dense silvery hairs, and about 22mm long by about 5mm wide. The leaf edges are rolled under. The flowers are formed into clusters at the ends of short branchlets. The perianth is very woolly and yellow-buff in colour and about 8mm long and the styles are about 10mm long.
