This is the only Australian native plant in a series of 3 'Australian Alps' stamps.

Family: MYRTACEAE

Common Name: Snow Gum

Small to medium-sized tree to 15 m with open habit and white smooth bark usually showing ‘scribbles’. Useful tree for gardens or street planting, particularly in colder areas. Stratification assists germination.

Distribution: Qld, NSW, ACT, Vic, Tas.
